Galactic Marbles

Galactic Marbles was a concept project that won 2nd place in the Playful.Ai jam. The concept was merging objects together to produce a new object. My team for the jam and I came up with the concept of creating a galaxy through merging the building blocks of created to get more and more exotic planetary systems. The original concept involved each planetary structure type to correspond with a specific instrument or musical effect so as the system evolved so would the music.

I composed the music and programmed the system that controlled syncing the music with its corresponding type. I also programmed the planets to dance to the beat once a certain element was created.

I also worked on some of the vfx for the planets such as shaders and post processing.
